The role:

Reporting directly to the Head of Legal (Corporate / Commercial), you will enjoy an extremely broad role, delivering high-quality legal advice and services across multiple operational territories in conjunction with our wider international legal team sitting in Russia, Portugal, China, and the US.

This is a highly visible and exciting role in a well regarded and dynamic team. This role will be ideal for a junior corporate/commercial lawyer looking to branch out in-house into a more business-focused role. Your remit will encompass giving advice predominantly on all types of corporate and commercial matters including working alongside the Principal Legal Counsel, Legal Counsel and Paralegal in the London office.

What you’ll do:

  • You will work on corporate matters, including M&A transactions, joint ventures, investments, public company compliance, and general corporate work

  • You will work on material business projects across the group (including the international expansion of the Farfetch ‘footprint’)

  • You will support various Farfetch business divisions with general commercial contracts including those entered into with our brand and boutique partners

  • You will be a business partner to Farfetch Black & White Solutions and also to Browns (encompassing advice to both online and offline functions)

  • You will assist on ’business as usual’ terms and conditions such as payment processing, delivery logistics, and treasury

  • You will work with our Paralegal on contract capture and management

Who you are:

  • You are an English or US law qualified lawyer with 1-2 years’ PQE as a corporate/commercial lawyer

  • You have excellent private practice training and experience from a top tier law firm

  • You ideally have some prior in-house exposure, perhaps in the form of a client secondment

  • You possess excellent communication, negotiating and drafting skills

  • You have a strong work ethic and attention to detail

  • You are passionate about fast-moving consumer-led businesses

  • You are a team player who is driven, forward-thinking, robust, innovative and agile, with commercial acumen
