Designer Alexander Wang Collaborates With Evian On Water Bottle

French water brand Evian has teamed up with designer Alexander Wang for its latest limited water bottle edition. Wang's design features two contrasting bottles, one in black and one in white showcasing the designers signature barcode design as a strategy to command exclusivity and to increase water sales.

Evian's enthusiasm for high fashion collaborations is known, and this marks the water company's 9th collaboration with a fashion designer, past designers have included Kenzo, Issey Miyake, Paul Smith  Elie Saab, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Christian Lacroix and Diane von Furstenberg.

Commenting on the collaboration, Wang told WWD. “"We don’t just live with clothes and shoes, we sit on furniture. We go to restaurants. We drink. We eat. To be able to take our brand and expand into lifestyle and work with partners that have perfected what they do is something I learn so much from and really stimulates me.”

The new Evian x Alexander Wang bottles will be debuted at Alexander Wang's Spring/Summer 16 show during New York Fashion Week this weekend, and be available from certain retailers, restaurants, hotels and shops.
