Acne Studios S/S 2017 Review

Paris, France — creative director Jonny Johansson, collection seemed rather political and was an ode to Multiculturalism, which is always a difficult topic in fashion.   Textiles indigenous to regions like Syria and other Arabic countries were showcased throughout. The creative director said “it is interesting to me that even though we live in a digital age with a free flow of information, there are many countries who want to close their borders. I prefer to focus on opens and looking out into the world.”
